JEANETTE MARTINEZ

Jeanette Martinez is a Fort Worth native, dedicated public servant, and advocate for families.

Born and raised in Fort Worth, Jeanette currently serves as Executive Administrator to Tarrant County Precinct One Commissioner Roy Charles Brooks. She graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington, where she earned her Master’s in Public Administration and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Wesleyan University. 


She currently serves on various nonprofit organizations that include the Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains as Vice-Chair, Pathfinders as a board member, and has served on the Las Familias de Rosemont Neighborhood Association as Treasurer and the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas Oklahoma Plains as State-Treasurer. As a 10 year public servant, Jeanette represents her department leading boards and committees within Tarrant County government that include serving as President of the Tarrant Special Events Foundation, Chair of the Resource Connection Advisory Committee and Chair of the Building Line Adjustment Board.

Jeanette has participated in various leadership programs that include Tarrant County’s BRIDGE program, SteerFW Keyholders Program, Leadership Fort Worth’s LeadingEdge program and currently Leadership Fort Worth’s 50th Leadership Program cohort. She has been recognized on different occasion by the Hispanic Women's Network of Texas, by the FTW/Tarrant County Minority Leaders & Citizens Council with an Administrators Award and most recently by the Fort Worth Business Press as a 40 Under 40 Honoree. 


Jeanette lives in the Rosemont neighborhood with her husband Eric and children: Eric, Ethan and Bella. In her spare time, she loves to travel, read, play tennis and spend time with family and pets.
